1917 brill very thought provoking. Anthrapoid true story, Cillian Murphy from Peaky Blinders killing Reinhard Heydrich nazi barsteward .

Angel has Fallen pooh plot great action lots of crash bang wallop.

Favourite has to be "We were soldiers " Vietnam from both sides showing the truth and probably Mel Gibson at his best .

"We are going where the metal meets the meat " what a quote Lt Col Hal Moore a true soldier.

One of the great trivias of that movie in general is that the guy in the cover of the original book is actually an English lad called rick Rescola from Hayle in Cornwall .

a fascinating guy who rose to be head of security at Morgan Stanley and died whilst singing “men of Harlech” as he escorted 2700 people out of the twin towers before going back inside to help.

they collapsed not long after .

what a guy

that little blond lass that acted as  Ruth  played a great role in the series.

Commando with Arnie on Film4 at 9pm. Doubt it still is but at the time it was the movie with the highest body count lol
