Did you both enjoy it?  Cheers, D.

American Gangster. Netflix, 2 hours 30 mins. Can't believe I've never seen it before! Based on a true story of how a black dude (Denzil Washington) imports drugs from Asia during the Vietnam

Well been some time since I went to the pictures and christ have things changed. Spent loads of time lifting or lowering my legs in the seat lay in back sitting up, loads of room. No getting up to let people out I was like a kid with a new toy Lol.

Bet the bloke next to me was right pissed off, sod him he had a box of smelly chicken wings or something.

Went to seen Maverick and I did enjoy it though scrip was bit weak but action was good.

Cheers Arry

Midnight In The Switchgrass.

Flix. Hour 'n half.

Not bad, actually. Cops and serial killers. Kept moving though.

Can't help idly wondering if it was made before or after True Detective :hmm:

It’s meant to be decent that mate , I think it’s well after true detective as it’s relatively new and the absolute epic that is true detective season 1 was about 4 years ago ….

The Place Beyond The Pines.

Amazon. Couple of hours.

Not exactly what I was expecting. None the worse for that :)

Not a bad film. Never felt it was dragging.

I really enjoyed that , the main geezer in it , Ryan gosling , is genuinely fantastic in most things he does

Aha! Yeah. That explains it then. Of course, I can't remember a damn thing now. And it's hard enough to explain a 'Feel' anyway. But, let's just say; Take a look. I think ye might agree it has that TD1 vibe about it ;)
