what was the last film you watched

" National Treasure ".

Flix. Four episodes at 45 min's a piece.

Robbie Coltrane and Julie Waters. He's an older celebrity who gets accused of historical rape, out of the blue. As they do.

Just finished the second episode and I've found it bloody hard going, to be honest. Slow. About to slog on through the third, because.

If it had been a seven parter? I'd fukking jack!

Did you both enjoy it?  Cheers, D.

American Gangster. Netflix, 2 hours 30 mins. Can't believe I've never seen it before! Based on a true story of how a black dude (Denzil Washington) imports drugs from Asia during the Vietnam

Gangster Squad, Netflix 1 hour 50 mins, post WW11 Los Angeles, an elite squad of detectives are assembled to bring down mobster Sean Penn, with Josh Brolin and a very different looking Ryan Reynolds.

Would have been a higher score but it's one of those where most of the action is shot in the dark ?  7/10

Cheers, D.

" National Treasure ".

As above. Just remembered to get round to finishing it.

Naah. Pretty bloody disappointing, actually. I mean; Robbie Coltrane? Gets ye hopes up, no?

Unfortunately, in this one, I found myself reasoning that he'd been like a may pole. It was like he pretty much just stood there, in the middle, for everyone else to dance round.

There was nothing for him to Do, let alone get his teeth into. It made him more of a 'subject' than a character.

Oh well.

Me and the boy have lived our lives based on Will Ferrel movies ! Lol

We quote them to each other constantly…….

Feel a bit queasy on a car journey and mention it ?……the “I’m gonna be sick” scene from Step Brothers gets trotted out….

One of my girls has an interview ?………it’s the “Hello miss lady”

Wife lighting a candle ?……..”Don’t let the invisible fire burn my friend” lol

We drive everyone in the house mental with that shit ! Lol

oh my god , he’s got hair like Brennan Hough !

Unbroken. Netflix. 2 hours 15 mins

Jack O'Connell plays an American Olympic track record holder whose plane was shot down and captured by the Japanese when he was an airman in WW11.

Based on a true story, a little long winded in parts but decent. 7+/10

Cheers, D

" Sex Education ".

Flix. Three Seasons. Eight episodes. Fifty minutes a piece.

Strangely hooky, in an occasionally vomit making way.

Plenty going on. A whole load of characters. The Gay's I can put up with. But, well; 'Non Binary'? " Which sex education class should I attend? ". Well; Ye've got a kunt, ye kunt! Guess! FFS! ?

Bit touchy, feely now and then. Bit OTT here and there. Suit yeself, really ?
