poachers apprentice 134 Posted March 9, 2020 Report Share Posted March 9, 2020 So I’ve used a catapult on and off since I was a nipper , always held it in my right hand and drawn with my left . Ive always been a fair to middling shot and accepted that but recently I’ve been looking into catapults more . I’m without a running dog and ferrets these last 2 years due to family/work and moving house so decided I’d knuckle down and just use a catapult and see how good I could get . I read the other night about eye dominance and hand dominance so decided to find my dominant eye (right) and I swapped hands as well .. my god !! My accuracy has improved in a day !! I’m not going to win any trophy’s just yet but I’m hitting a £2 sized circle 8/10 times now at 15-20 yards . Used to be 4/5 out of ten !! Also it just seems so much easier not straining my neck or muscles now just taking it easy and relaxed . I still ain’t 100% stable with my left hand and it’s still feels a might unsaturated but I’m getting there . 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
