Some boxers just never make the transition from amateur to pro, a few local lads up here being multi title holders as amateurs but done nothing as pros. But tbf to Wilder he went from Olympic bronze medalist to WBC world champion. If Wilder is not going to listen thats all there is too it, like I mentioned his team have tried with him and he didnt want to know. Now Fury has beat him lets hope he listens to the people around him now, but at 34 and the rematch only a few months away it will be interesting to see what changes are made . For somebody that cant box hes done well for himself I will give him that .

Exactly....so the " of course he can box he won an Olympic medal " really doesnt stand up it doesnt even take a knowledgeable eye who knows what they are looking at to see Wilder has poor technique and has never learned basic boxing fundamentals......his physical gifts and sharpshooter punch have got him out of trouble from day 1 and he has been matched accordingly.

The fact he refuses to listen is just indicative of what he has as a fighter....a know it all outlook based on false talent and a bully mentality.

Id genuinely love it if big john fury , Tyson and billy Joe made a call out video to george foreman , wilder and mayweather for a square go on an industrial estate

That’s easy big George kos the whole lot of them and walks off calmly for a steak and chips afterwards

Good fact , george foreman only got the grill deal as hulk hogan knocked it back . What a clown

Its unreal the money Foreman made from that grill deal, at times he was making $8 million dollars a month !

I agree with most of what you say Gnash but Wilder boxed well enough as an amateur to get Olympic selection in America and then went on to win a bronze medal. Solis Harrison Cammarelle Biggs Tillman reached the pinnacle as amateurs but failed as pros but Wilder did win a World title admittedly in a poor era mind. I agree the position Wilder finds himself in now is down to him and his ignorance since turning pro and its nobody else’s fault but his.Now the “bully” has been beat will he even be the same fighter again !
