Dog food

Are there any decent tinned foods available to mix with gain or are they all shit. I don't have the ability to store fresh meat so looking for other alternatives

This is what is in pedigree chum tins 

81% moisture = water = don't feed it its rubbish.

 

Get in Lidl you can buy a small fresh chicken for £2 each.

Chop in half job done = 2 days worth of meat.

Buy tinned sardines in there for 31p think it is.

Tinned tomatoes about 35p 

Full tin of tomatoes a tin of sardines and a slice of brown bread mixed with a few biscuits.and pour some oil over it.

Microwave the tomatoes for 3 mins before pouring on the biscuits.

Cheers mate.  Yeah I've bought a load of sardines from Lidl for 33p a tin and the dogs love em so they get them 3 times a week.

Even if you have a small freezer, you can put a couple packs of chicken wings or thighs in, or a mincer. Sardines are great with the oil.

Chicken wings /thighs are cheap an don’t take up no space in a freezer split the tray in to daily freezer bag rations they fit in small gaps in the freezer tin mackerel or sardines ,eggs lamb harts a tray of mince beef/lamb/pork if you only feeding as a additive to biscuits can stay un frozen for about 4 days sat in a fridge I mean if your only feeding as a additive to biscuits you don’t need to have a freezer to stock large amounts of raw for one dog if you do a weekly dog food shop for dog raw it’s only people with multiple dogs that buy in bulk from suppliers to get a better price per kg of raw......don’t forget Your table scraps bung them down for the dog as well hit the discount meat section up at your local supermarket there’s a bargain to be add

Don you have a pet store that sell frozen tripe or a local slaughter house sheep tripe green washed out 3 for a quid

Or drop a roe or two and freez it up in bits or local shot and ask for pheasant they usually give you as many as you want free

That'd be my choice just for one dog, tripe. Great food for dogs. Not on it's own all the time, but as part of a mix/variation in the dog's usual diet.

Can practically guarantee that within a few days of feeding it, your dog's coat and skin will start to improve. After a few weeks, the coat will get thicker and glossier, and the dryness and scurf from the skin will disappear.
