The problem is, there are lot of colds and coughs going around at the moment. I think what a lot of people are self diagnosing ...... is a cold.

Yeah sure I agree, but let’s not ruin my Covid anecdote ?

just found out a friend of my mums has died she ony had it for 2 days and was only 65.lived about 8 miles away from me too

2 days of contracting it , 2 days of showing symptoms , 2 days of showing servere symptoms..

Somehow I don't believe someone died after only 2 days of catching it , I think this is just another scare mongering rumour going around

I think he probably means 2 days from realising they had it.

A mate of mine & his Mrs has just had it. She is a cleaner in an Essex hospital & they come down with it last Sunday. He had the cough & bad chest, she had the high temp & in bed for two days etc. They have been in isolation all this last week.

Considering they are both smokers & he is asthmatic it was a mild dose. This is a self diagnosis obviously, but under the circumstances it’s probable that’s what it was & she has to remain off work for another week, then she will be tested on her return.

A lad that works for a subby that does the plumbing for us at work had a positive test result last Sunday, big strong lad 6’7” and big into his Gaelic football and it’s hit him really hard although not hospitalised said it had really knocked him for six.

This morning a pal of mine who,s brother is a porter at Barts Hospital in London was telling me about a conversation he had with his brother yesterday he said he,s struggling emotionally to do his job, apparently when someone dies of this they have to be wrapped in plastic and cable tied as the virus is still contagious for up to 36 hours after death ( dont ask me how )....he said they are literally stacking up corpses wrapped in plastic in a room before they can be taken to the morgue......from what i know of him my pals brother is quite a switched on assertive sort of chap but he said he could hear his voice going as he was telling him......really sad the overall effect this is all going to have on folk from all walks of life....shame.

A suspected Covid-19 male patient is lying in bed in the hospital, wearing an oxygen mask over his mouth and nose. A young female Nurse appears and gives him a partial sponge bath.

"Nurse,"' he mumbles from behind the mask, "Are my testicles black?"

Embarrassed, the young Nurse replies, "I don't know, Sir. I'm only here to wash your upper body and feet."

He struggles to ask again, "Nurse, please check for me. Are my testicles black?"

Concerned that he might elevate his blood pressure and heart rate from worrying about his testicles, she overcomes her embarrassment and
pulls back the covers. She raises his gown, holds his manhood in one hand and his testicles gently in the other. She looks very closely and says, "There's nothing wrong with them, Sir. They look fine."

The man slowly pulls off his oxygen mask, smiles at her, and says very slowly,
"Thank you very much. That was wonderful. Now listen very, very, closely:
Are - my - test - results - back?"

Cheers Arry
