Tree for the Granddaughter

I know what you mean about walnut, I’ve always felt they are a bit special for some reason, maybe because not your everyday tree.

I agree plum and apple are good. But Walnut mate they a proper tree get real big and they are lovely trees. I could have bought a whip or a more established tree, that don't do it for me. I foraged them nuts at the same time she was born and planted it so its exactly the same age as her. Also that nut was forming on the tree at the same time she was forming. Its just them little things that give it a bit more meaning if you get where I'm coming from. Atb.
