You're cooking it wrong mate. Cooked slowly, stuffed ox/beef heart is absolutely superb, melt in the mouth stuff better than any steak ?

There's a stall goes round the Cornish country Shows in Summer. Buffalo, crocodile, zebra, rattlesnake etc etc they do locust ice lollies too!

Was in Kenya years ago, ate zebra (very nice), antelope and crocodile..(bit fatty but tasty)

Mother tricked me into eating ox heart as a kid...and it was lovely...not a big fan in liver, taster like metal..lol..

I like liver and kidney out of fresh caught rabbit though... catch a couple in the morning and eat the liver and kidneys with toast...

Love proper pork scratchlings like the midland snack company or Black Country ones hairs are a bonus ? Not the ones supermarkets sell in the booze aisle that taste like a frazzle crisp , 

Tuna is rank on its own let alone with marmite 

Yet peanut butter an  marmite is great on toast.

This was probably about 1985 when all you got to eat in pubs round our way was crisps ...id never heard of them but thought f**k it lets give em a go.
