That looks good.

Do you cook the meat and veg before you add it to the pastry.

Atb j

No mate  cut the veg and meat (Beef Skirt) into 10mm pieces and it all goes in raw honest its dead easy and they are handsome. In that recipe it says put meat and veg in layers I just mix it all together. One thing I would say is don't try and do it with ready made pastry it just falls apart. Make your own pastry from strong bread flower its more elastic. I whack the flower salt lard and margarine in a blender till its like bread crumbs then put in a bowl and add the water.

Cheers Arry

Tbh I'm not sure mate. I guess there'll be someone on here who can say so, or maybe old photos could shed light ;)

Yeah, I don't know either. The point I was getting at was that I was under the impression that the lakes produced fox killers, not digging dogs. It was when the blood was taken south that it became refined into what it is known for today? :hmm:

The Lab can probably be fairly given to the Buccleuch in the borders.

Fen dogs... obvious? or did the significant men predominantly come from elsewhere?

The English Foxhound?

I thought the lab was from Canada....with Labrador being an area of that country??
