Do coons go to ground in big dens rangy and deep or is it mainly above ground where they are caught. Just curious to know the terriers they work is it mainly above ground as to over here it's under. dillydog 8,409 Posted January 25, 2020 Report Share Posted January 25, 2020 Coons get anywhere they can, stick piles, barns, earth, pretty much anywhere a fox would get over here. I've seen a few decent digs lads have had over there but they're the exception not the rule. There's nothing on the scale of the massive old badger setts over there, the North American badger is nomadic, believe me I was looking. I found plenty of active looking places, all no more than a scratched out rabbit warren. Look on YouTube, there's all sorts of hunting in America on there. 1 Quote Link to post
