That clear top from M is good and its water resistant I think, and easy to apply. This Toko pro is supposed to be the same as Tokonole but its ony about half the price. I found the Metropolitan stuff a lot easier/quicker to apply though. Im using the Toko on some thick Buffalo edges (5mm) that are really hard to burnish and its doing a good job.

It takes some doing just burnishing the cowhide, gives the old shoulder some stick lol, l've noticed the oxblood dye can run when the leather first gets wet so was hoping the top coat would prevent that

haha I know, its hard work and funny how it takes ages on some leather and less on others. I think that Metropolitan stuff should do it for you, but you have to watch getting bubbles in it if you shake it like they tell you to because they can dry in and you dont get a smooth finish. I used it on those moulded pouches.
