i used to make alot of stuff some years ago and sold all over the world  but its very labour intensive so these days my leatherwork is just confined to knife sheaths    i made a few beltpouchsat one time very popular in the states

That's some tidy work mate, do you use different layers of leather to get that effect, I saw a basketweave knife sheath that the maker said was five layers of leather

Sometimes watch the odd knife making bits on YouTube, Jacklore in particular that also looks a lot of work

no mate not different layers its done with a leather stamp  .  ,
