What would be the best way to invest £1 million.

Hopefully achieving 5% a year interest.

With minimum risk..

Should I have an amount to invest, I would definitely invest in shotgun cartridges and sluts !   There's no % return but a lot of pleasure and enjoyment. The Mrs wouldn't be chuffed with wasting money on the cartridges but I'd be prepared to accept the flack. ?.

Ps.  ... go seek the advice of a financial advisor. Not me.

At 4% in a bank say you'd get £40k a year in thirty years you'd have Earned £2.3 m.

The banks only guarantee £80k per account I read before..

Bit risky throwing the lot into 1 bank surely..

I'd go property rental.

There's propertys around me valued at £450k but the rent it £1250 per month.

So 2 of them houses would only bring in £2.5 k per month..

So 3% a year
