I use old tv shows as material for my bed time stories.

I use 80s and 90s cartoons for inspiration for ad lib tales of daring  starring well me

bravestarr , bionic 6 , Ulysses , mysterious cities of gold , dogtanion , thundercats have all played their part

Not a fan of that Gervais and think he's a prick but he savaged the Hollywood elite last night

On the back of your comment,  I just watched it - savaged is the right word for it, that was funny

Remember Tiswas. Children's TV Saturday mornings. Mrs went shopping and I would throw a duvet over my kids whilst I cleaned out the stove and gave them their breakfast. Great memories. Bob Carrolgees, Lenny Henry, JimDavidson The Scaffold and the lovely Sally James. Brilliant show for all generations.

If I ever went on mastermind my specialist subject would be action cartoons of the 80s and 90s.

My ringtone for work is the galaxy rangers theme and is part of the deception to my 7 year old that  I am actually goose .

I find myself watching porridge a fair bit these days, as a kid I used to enjoy laurel and hardy, Abbott and Costello, then the two Ronnie's , Benny hill, I guess the Oldman had it on the TV , but the first two were my choice, I apparently preferred black and white, possibly because I'm colour blind but who knows. Been watching home alone and elf over Christmas with the kids and we were all laughing at the slapstick humour, watching my kids in hysterics is contagious. I enjoy the wilder/Pryor films , I enjoy Gervais, Connelly,  micheal MacIntyre , And getting into Stewart Lee as he's one clever beggar and openly pretencious . Lots of funny people about.

Stewart Lee’s bit about the Richard Hammond crash is brilliant
