Hi all I’ve had ferrets all my life currently just started back up after a few years off . Got a young Jill and hob that we’re fine together any how after there first day working Saturday they have started fighting straight away in the box and still in the cage she started biting  him and  he seems to keep nipping her . His balls seem to have vanished aswel ? I’ve now separated them today

I use 2 jills when out and they scrap when put back in the court, could be smell or something... nuts shouldnt be out yet as they arent in season, bout feb time they pop out.

He did have little nuts when I got him 3 weeks ago hes only small hob tho I swapped him for a rather large one who had a fair pair on him

A pair of my jills do that. Mother and daughter. They never used to do it, just started this season. As soon as I put them back in the run they start having a go at each other. They settle down in 10 mins.They are roughly 4 and 5 year old, always lived together.

It’s strange . She was tagging him then stopped now he’s doing it to her when she goes near “probably fear biting “ separated now tho

I took the rabbit out to hopefully stop the fighting but it didn’t help
