lllluke1 328
Got bored last night so thought I would go for a little walk. The wind had dropped to nothing and there was nearly a full moon out with a small amount of cloud, not the best weather, but what the hell. Walked up one field and got to a corner and went through the gate, nothing. 10 yards down the hedge is the gate to the field the other side of the hedge I had just walked up, looked through the gate and there is Mr fox, looking as shocked as me 10 yards away staring at me. Obviously he took off at a rate of knots down the hedge line. Got the rifle on the sticks just in time to see him going through the hedge of the field I had just came from about 150 yards away. So I quickly nipped through the two gates, put the rifle on sticks and in the glow of the red light I could see him looking at me. Took the shot, heard the hit, watched him run in a circle then drop. 160 ish paces and there he was. 5 Quote Link to post

lllluke1 328
I'm 90% sure this was the one I saw the night before. First time I saw it there was no safe shot. As it got the other side of a small valley, it was way out of my range and just stood there looking at me while I tried to call it in. It would of been in the same place at the time I first saw it last night Quote Link to post
