Mine sleep in a plastic crate with no roof on it  filled with shavings on the bottom of the hutch and if there too warm they sleep at the side of it never put a roof on a sleeping  compartment yet

and it been like that for last week is it happening to any one else I have some old clothes in the box and bit of strew

Michael this might help you. I put this extra piece of ply on two bits of 3"x 3" timber in the summer to create a air gap to try and keep the hutch cool on hot days. Well never got around to taking it off, even roped it down with para cord to stop it getting blown off a month or so ago. I going to leave it on for the winter as well now as I have noticed the inside of the roof is much dryer than it has been and seems to cut down on condensation.

My little doe has finally had her kits around a week ago their mum is a great little hunter but also a great pet  she is proud of them and i have been close to them but still keeping a distance from them at this stage  hopefully if i can get 3 to 4 bucks for new stock I will be happy with that . My question is I have in the past put my young ones to work with their mum at around 6 months old is that a bit to early. Second of all I will keep one of her daughters for breading as milly is getting old  . With the older ones I will pass them on as pets as that are friendly when handheld but do hunt when they out to work . c
