you can buy it from  barmond special    steels   , or gfs  supplies  have various coulors .different thicknesses  .its not chneap cheap  but it will last and food safe non pourous

Is that engineers blue so you can see where you've ground? Or am I miles off lol...

yes its layout fluid like you say it makes life easier when marking grind lines and drill holes :thumbs:

there aint many that inport it and the 6.whatever mm  stuff suites me  and the size  gfs sell it i get i think 6 sets of scales from the piece so it does me  :good:

      Been busy with other things so not made a knife for a while. There is a KITH over on EM and the challenge was to make a Puukko form recycled materials....right up my street.
      Blade ground form a HSS industrial planer blade. Handle is stacked from recycled brass, copper, stainless and filled in with denim Micarta. All cast onto the handle in a oner then ground to shape.
