I watched the 12th man last night, based on a true story,a decent watch (even if its in subtitles) about a failed attempt by 12 Norwegians to go back to there occupied homeland and basically wreak havoc on German installations there but things dont go to plan due to Norwegian Nazi sympathisers. It ends up one mans fight for survival and to avoid capture by the pursuing Nazi’s .

I'm quite enjoying The Messiah. Basically what would happen if Jesus popped up today.

Not a bad little twist at the end of that....shall i be an utter wanker and tell you all about it ?

Sorry to bring this back from the dead but last few nights me and her have watched the ted bundy series on amazon .

Its based around the wider issue of the rise if rights of females in the early 70s and how bundy effected that. Bit of a tenuous link to be fair however apart from the usual monotoned over commentary this is told by recollection and interview.

Teds ex girlfriend, his step daughter so to speak , brother and work mates all tell the story in full

there are several chilling parts , one teacher from Utah telling the tale of a 16 year old girl being taken from a school performance will give you an idea of the damage one man did to community’s like that.

The 2 most shocking parts were the fact that his girlfriend from the very start suspected him of doing these things  and constantly reported him. She wasn’t taken seriously at all, despite that the murders in Washington stopped and started in Utah when he moved from Seattle to Utah .

The most though was the insight of ted as a family man , playing with young kids in the neighbourhood, teaching them to ride bikes , playing sports etc. Just a regular joe. The daughter tells a tale though of how in tune he was of his surroundings with a tale of how he once caught a plate that fell off a shelf . Behind him. Without looking .

A mesmerising insight to a story that is very well trod.

i remember being amazed by him when younger a little. My mam used to get these pulp “worlds most “ books for me And he was always in them. A terrifying character
