457 royal

I have been waiting to have a proper look at the cz457 . Well today just Popped in to one of local RFD just to see what they had , something caught my eye straight away , then realised it’s the gun I have been waiting for CZ 457 royal.22 . All I can say is I am not disappointed, in fact it’s lovely and can’t pick fault in it  , which is unusual for me , ok I haven’t shot it yet but fallen in love with it . 
I nearly bought a tikka t1 but not a big fan of the stock and after handling the CZ , tikka has gone out the window for now 

Stumbling point at the moment he will not do a deal on it  and I very rarely pay full price for anything

Oh, so are you from Yorkshire then? Or north staffs?

What’s the barrel length from the end of the stock, I’ve seen one and it looked flush with the stock but I’ve seen pictures of them and it was about 6” longer, that’s the thing for me that let the tikka down with the barrel been so close to the stock, purely on a look basis

It’s a 16” barrel and about 150 mm  from the end or 6” for you old  ones

So there some tight barstewards on the South Coast as well then Mitch.   If you like it and can't get a deal, buy it and cry all the way home but at least you will have it the next day and you will have forgotten the price you paid.

Aesthetically I'm definitely not a fan of the Royal, but its a CZ and I'm sure it will work well which the main thing!
