Dont often post in this section but thought I would give it a go. Had a leg of wild boar gifted by a friend a while back. Decided to slow roast it in AGA yesterday to have for my tea and whatever left was going in a pie. Well seen as we didn't get in from trick or treating till 7pm by time we had sorted kids I didn't fancy eating so trimmed the leg, braised it in some gravy while I cooked tatties and mushrooms. Leg was roasted with salt pepper chilli flakes rubbed on it and a few cloves of garlic poked in it.   Tatties just boiled and sliced. Mushrooms cooked in oven covered with foil in a bit of butter with parsley. Tried some of the boar as it went in and it was lovely, not tried the pie yet, think it might be today's tea.
