A few hours out

Recommended Posts

After the terrible weather this weekend I had to get out for a mooch, late yesterday I managed a few hours up at a good sized permission,  thought I'd try out my recently purchased escort magnum,  resulting in a mixed bag of crows, pigeon & a few phesants, with the escort shooting number 6 32gr clear pigeon cartridges,  once it started to dusk in I scoped the pulsar apex xq50lrf in on my tikka t1x 17hmr, then went home as the weather turned for the worse,

Sitting with itchy fingers today I managed to get a couple of hours out tonight with the 17hmr & the thermal,  2 hours out on a local permission resulting in 8 rabbits & 1 Charlie!

Beats sitting in the house

Better than me, went out earlier, walked round a 300ish acre farm after a fox.  Nothing.  Drove home, and there was one sat out about 50 yards from my house.  Middle of town, don't think the local firearms response team would like me dropping a fox with the .223 on the main street

Very nice, you certainly had a better night than me, 3 hours at the sheep farm with nothing to show for my efforts, what sort of distance was the ginger

Bang on 130 yards, dropped like a hot snot

Sean do you know off hand if the beaver tail forend and vertical grips are the sam  for the Tx1 and Tx3 because there seems to be some for sale on ebay around £20 each but not sure if they are the same for both.
