I had to share this with the traditional food lovers on here seeing as we haven’t had a food thread for a while,  my wife made this from scratch all the gravy inside the pudding reduced with red wine

Freybentos?

My Mrs wouldn’t allow such an outrage the gravy is the same gravy that is inside the pudding a reduced red wine gravy attention to detail is her forte. ?

Looks legit. miles better looking than that pie in the green water folk post .

You’re referring to Pie Mash and Liquor I guarantee if you ever try it you would love it but it’s got to come from a noted Pie shop cheap imitations just don’t cut it.

My ex missus of 18years was a traveller girl so meat pudding or bacon and onion pudding done in a cloth was the norm at least once a week.

Yes exactly that, bacon, parsley and onion in a suet pastry roll, wrapped in cloth and boiled - lovely stuff

We even used to eat it cold, sliced up.

I'd slice bits off and fry it in hot dripping or have it cold in my pack up
