That was a decent copper, a c**t of a copper gave me a fine for my tinted windows that were on the car when I bought it. I explained to him about me buying the car like that and he stated garages have no duty to ensure the tints are legal and can sell them that way, well that made me saw red and say a few home truths to the cnut.

just a couple more points; you have given the reasons the bobby used his two's and blues in your original post. Traffic conditions. And you can't have a £100 "on the spot fine" if he's given you two weeks to get it sorted by changing the plates.

The VDR form takes about five minutes to complete including PNC  owner check. So presumably the other 55 minutes were taken up by you arguing the toss.

I don't argue  with the law , Please show me where I have called anyone on this thread names , I never said I got a Fine , and you are to thick to be even an ex Copper in fact you come over as a Traffic Warden ,  now show me the EVIDENCE  MAIGRET .

They were doing that to the school mums round my old way until one pointed out that the windows on her brand new Range Rover were factory fitted !

You can buy a decent coat and real belt then.

And burn you current coat and bail twine.

You can't have an on the spot fine AND 14 days to sort it. It is one of the other and you got the other. Think about it

I feel a bit sorry for many plod these days they get into the job expecting a bit of action and end up with their hands tied behind their backs victims of the pc lot like the rest of us.

Most ol bill play a fair game if you,ve had enough dealings with them you just accept them as opponents that you win or lose to from time to time.
