It's right to remember good old times, and good old boys... I have travelled, all the way up one side of Scotland, and come back down the other...  As you know, nothing much beats the place

The next cross,  back to the Greyhound was always far more agile and useful product.

Great dogs for the Roe...?

We then put our 3/4 bred hybrids over big whippets...then we were cooking...?

Terrific old-style longdogs,.great to see lads still enjoying them...:clapper:

Didn't you put collie blood in there Phil?

So you wouldnt rush to get one then two crows. I've been thinking about one for a while but ideally I'd like one x bull/greyhound but you dont see many being bred.

no mate I would not, I remember them in the seventy's, they were no good then, yes you will get a good one here and there bound to, but to me a far better option is a lurcher x lurcher that's deerhound based, a far better animal, imho

Seen a pure deerhound pet in Dorchester today stunning looking animal but for work  was to tall ,

I don’t see dias dogs posting on here much now he had a stunner of a deerhound lurcher what happened to him anyone know ?

His was half bull half deerhound he then put it to a grey hound and did a repeat mating as the pups were all doing the business, I think There a lass on here who has one , mate mine had one and was doing good till it killed itself

I run a 1st cross. This will be her 2nd full season working so hopefully she will develop more. They are very slow to mature compared to other breeds. She stands at 28tts. She is 28 months old

She has caught rhfd. She is very fast and turns well . She picks her strikes now and then on the big stuff which can be frustrating.

Her stamina is not what I thought, thought it would of been better tbf.
