Just for Pastoral fans out there,..these are some words I penned from research, a few years ago...  Obviously, only my opinion,...based solely on my own experience...? The Australian Cattle

Fair play to you for sticking to your guns,.... and going with your heart...? I prefer, my rabbiting lurchers to have a fair old smidgeon of the herder in them... Everyone, has their own pre

Love them or hate them there is no getting away from the fact there will never be anyone as influential in successfully breeding just one cross as Hancocks have been, iv no complaints with mine,

The place was a shit hole and I’m glad it’s closed down ... it was a giant fukcing puppy farm with the stud dogs never coming off their chains ... the brood bitches never leaving their pens .... pups that were churned out for profit fed on shit food with no socialisation and bigged up beyond belief.........

Couldn't of said it better and if you can see that by just visiting imagine what they were at behind closed doors when they weren't giving the customer the sales pitch with a friendly smile.

That won't happen. Nobody is going to put out paperwork for 1000,s of pups for tax reasons alone. All those puppy farms only claim to breed 10% of the actual numbers been churned out.

They keep records of all the pups they bred with their tattoo numbers and I think contact details for most of the buyers.

Keeping details and releasing all details are 2 different things. Paper doesn't refuse ink. I've seen registered litters of spaniels with dozens of field trial champions on their papers for sale but the pups had terriers ears ?. They will tell you what you want to hear when money is involved.

Your right mooch but with stock it can’t be just about money it’s got to be about there care An the customers care when it becomes just about money that’s when it’s game over with stock

to be honest I’d put money on it his incinerator as been busy incinerating the brooding bitches an any other dogs/studs he don’t want around the yard or people getting there hands on

So he's worse than Hitler. Not only did he incinerate dogs he peddled them too.

Come on mate what do you think he does with end of use greyhound bitches he can no longer breed from or is not breeding from or pups he can’t sell business is closed he’s not going to feed them all at his cost and eat in to the remaining profits of the business there be being pts I’m guessing he’ll keep a few of the studs about to still pimp them out behind closed doors so the tax man don’t get his hands a percentage on any fee he charges to the lurcher world he is hitler an a dirty peddling one at that

I owned a Hancock when I was a spotty teenager, my first ever lurcher. The dogs were kept rough but their dens were clean. He ended up a decent dog, better on hare and the odd bambi than anything else. Forget fox, he was an arse grabber but I forgave him for not having the bottle. At 27' tall he was decent on rabbits, nothing special.

I like a dog that can hunt up just as well as go on the slip, he had a good nose on him. The dog was jealous as hell in the company of other lurchers but I never saw any as fast as him side by side.

He was a 3/4 cross and could on occasions be brain dead but I had lots of fun with him. He was a yapper on hare on occasions, especially when he knew they were heading towards cover.

Would I have had another, I always loved to run hares and I like fast dogs so why not.

You only had to go there and speak to the man to know that’s fact .....

So why didn't you report this to the local council etc whom granted his licence and take photos  of the conditions and this goes for other people who has been to the kennels.
