allotment rabbits

There are rabbits on my new allotment and they are proving difficult to sort out. They have been there much longer than I have and know every way in and out. I've had cage traps set to no avail and my only catch in my welll set Fenn mk6s was a hedgehog, sorry. They don't really sit out in the open much so rifle hasn't been an option. Any ideas?

We'll I have both to try, the only thing I haven't really used are snares. I did a course on snaring a while back but we don't use them at work. For what they cost I'll pick some up

You cannot ask advice unless you a prepared to pictures up , show where they are coming in, doing damage, and where you think they are living, with out this you are just asking HOW LONG IS A PIECE OF STRING

If the rabbits have large deep well established burrows you could use a Rodenator.

You can only use the Rodenator  if the burrows have been cleared first hot air will shift them though get Si Brown off of the Puff gunners section he's got more than enough.

As already said, they are not allowed for killing rabbits, just demolishing burrows!

I've used the similar called a virminator I din't think they are not passed in this country as for humane killing you suppose to ferret the warrens then collapse the tunnels with the Verminator,they can be extremely noisy not really suitable around residential areas,you also have to be vidulant and not use them were there is a risk of fire I nearly set fire  to a national park luckily I gained control of the situation,grate fun to use though.
