Never like fishing in the middle of a sunny day but have had some cracking sessions doing it so you never know. JUst not today. But like any thing you won't catch sat at home. The old cockle beds are open and by christ they get a caining. Tractor trailers, boats telehandlers and an artic lorry. 1 tons bags galore. Must be a few quid in it 4 Quote Link to post

If it is the same place I was down there early AM a few weekends ago at low tide with the dog and there were loads of vehicles etc at the mouth of the river, assumed they were after the cockles.
