Best advice on the thread by far......if I knew what I know about winches now 15 years ago I'd of removed about 85% of stupid things I've done with saws in them years lol in fact I can't believe I even used to attempt some trees without using a winch as they save no end of f***ing about and keeps you well out the danger zone when it gets exciting
