I couldn't find a suitable category to post this video - so if someone knows a more relevant place please let me know; Here is a video of a family day out we had on the local shoreline. Showing whats available and how to find them. These can be foraged for the table or in my case for bait to catch fish. :) I hope this helps.

I think here or the fishing bit would suit videos like that fine; how do you rate cockles as bait? I've thousands around my pots but never bothered to collect em

Same but in fairness not used them much. I have seen a bass caught on cockles. I use clams which are great

I know a guy in the Channel Islands that uses Gaper clams for bass aswell. He says they work well. Cockles I’m not too sure, fish like giltheads will eat them but I have only ever had small whiting and coalie with them when I was younger ( Billet and Pennock as we used to call them. )
