cragman 2,631 Posted May 8, 2019 Report Share Posted May 8, 2019 All he’s doing is helping those orphaned or injured hogs to survive, which is a good thing but then he’s releasing them to be eaten by old brock, so he’s not saving them. cragman 2,631 Posted May 8, 2019 Report Share Posted May 8, 2019 It’s not what badgers eat that’s the problem, it’s the number of badgers versus the number of hedgehogs, the number of leverets ground nesting birds, wild bee colonies etc. They just outnumber everything in the countryside but in cull areas there is a reverse in figures. Even the RSPB and others try and offer protection for other wildlife against badgers without culling them by building high fence lines around areas with ground nesting birds 3 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

The badger cull us doing more for hogs, numbers are up where the cull had taken place the old hedge hog , needs all the help they can get , if ( May ) doing it and getting joe public looking and listening great. the hedge hog great for gardens they kill all bug,worms, slugs, that eat your veg . i love couple in my garden. regards pigs= brock, yes there loads about now, but the old farmer have ways of trying keeping them down , they dont talk about it for a start on the WEB etc , they just do it , i knew few farmers dairy / beef that did it . it just we over run with the bloody thing s now , than we were 15 years ago .! 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
