DEFRA Consultation - General Licences

Recommended Posts

I submitted my reply to Defra last night, its easy enough with an email.

Wild Justice and its supporters are on the ropes now, they seem to be worried by the consultation process because they know damn well they have no scientific evidence that the way people have used GL's for the past few decades has had ANY detrimental effects on the population of the species listed on them!

I have had swifts nesting in my roof for over 30 years and consider it a great privalidge that they fly thousands of miles from Africa to my house and I,ve probably been home to generations of swifts, well about 4 years back the magpies learned to tap on the tiles and when the young swifts popped there heads out for food they were grabbed and eaten despite me sitting in my garage and shooting them as often as I could the following year they learned that if they sat and waited they could catch the adults trying to go in and out, again I shot and killed a few but sadly last year for the first time in decades my roof was empty I,ve put box,s on the soffits this year but so far have only seen 3 swifts and the magpies are back waiting already, thanks Chris you total wanker ??
