liP 699 Posted June 13, 2019 Author Report Share Posted June 13, 2019 Just for an update.. How the feck did that get in there? It was on the brass nipple seal. After trying various ways trying my hardest not to mark the cylinder I relented and bought the proper tools from hw100.com along with the appropriate seals, money well spent! Undid the ends of the cylinder in no time, still neaded a vice and an adjustable spanner though. Anyone having the same problem with the cylinder leaking, I would recommend getting the proper tools and doing the job yourself. Just watch the video in this thread and crack on, nothing to worry about as long as you make sure the cylinder is empty. Cheers Ho oxo, you only need to remove the valve end if its determined that you have a leak there. Yes there are two o rings in that end too, the same sized o rings as in the gauge end. 1 Quote Link to post

The plug is always in place in the Hw cylinder and only taken out when it needs filling. The dive cylinder has an end cap on too so I can only imagine it was some debris come loose in the hw cylinder end,like a bit of dried glue or lock tight, fook knows Quote Link to post
