Once found a ten bob note when I was about 7 under a goosberry bush in our garden.my brother and me was at every ice cream van that came round made myself sick and we couldn't spent it . Ended up giving a load of two bob bits and change to my older sister

I went to the shop one day and he wouldn't give me 50 of the half penny chewing gums after getting the money of Mammy. He told me your parents wouldn't let that go one. I said fcuk him and egged his door. You could buy an ounce of coke outside there now. I was known as a bad boy because I walked down the street with 20 chewing gums in my mouth. Harmless times but there was a family of 3 peado brothers living in the one house way too close so you and we made sure you were like Noah and the Ark and only two together walking at a time to be safe. It was some fun when we hit 16 and came and kicked their doors in and hammered them every night and when they walked the streets. That was the mid 1990s I'm shocked that the older generation let it go on and they were supposed to be the tough old fred dibnah types. As soon as we hit puberty we scattered them to the 4 winds and 2 lads got 3 months for assault. They should of got Nobel prizes.. It wasn't gangland but just half a dozen lads and they never moved back. I'm glad to say now that I'd feel comfortable to leave my kids play in that estate now.
