Me and my mate kev had to go out along the long military roads and collect all the lighting sets in.big gennys with towers on with flood lights.

He had the newer faster tractor and was beating me all day.

Mid afternoon we had to go down a very long steep hill.

I flagged him down and said right I will race you down here.

Off we took flat out he was in front.

But my plan was to put it in neutral when I was flat out.

Feck me I flew past him he had a face of complete shock lol.

I was laughing like feck joint hanging out the mouth.

Patting the steering wheel.

When I realised I had to stop.

Feck.me I shit it fecking thing had shit brakes.

I must of been doing nearly 45 in neutral.

How do the parents fare while ferreting if you get a bolter onto open land.

Are they quick enough to catch over distance.

Or more under the hedgerow or nets they prove there worth.
