WAY too windy!

Recommended Posts

I decided to have a quick wander before work this morning with the 99 and boy was it windy. 60+ mph gusting shite to be precise!

I ended up having a quick wander on a fairly close perm to home and due to the swirling gusts decided to play it safe and keep the shots close.

I spotted the rabbit from about 70 yards dashing about with another couple and by the time i had crept up to them there was just the one still out so i kept sneaking and got within 25 yards and placed an AA Field diablo on his temple. I didnt retrieve him straight away as i was hoping his pals might come back out but instead a maggie decided to land just past him and have a gander at why he was having 40 winks in the grass. The maggie was at 35 so with the wind being so strong, he was dropped with an engine room shot and just buckled. No flapping just straight down. I didnt stick around after that, time to try and earn some candy?IMG_20190312_163436_190.jpg.ec5b71454427b5c6f4be511c2e02effc.jpg

But then again the weather forecast here has been wrong all week lol

Im taking an old friend down so he can visit his sisters who he has not seen in a few years

dropping him off and picking him back up on the sunday on my way home

and he is looking forward to it or i would sack it until next week end

but dont want to let the old guy down .

Plus Phil is past him self to get his hands on the diana 16 lol

and you did not blank Matt so thats a bonus bud

your putting that 99 through its paces

It certainly does Jimmy.

Ok, its not as quiet as my r10 or 100, it never will be but i feel as confident squeezing the trigger at very similar ranges with it as i did my pcp's and definately the tx in either flavour.

I know they are ok out of the box but a lot of the confidence ive got in it has come from what Si has done with it pal?

Enjoy your shooting with Si, speak to you soon pal??
