Underdog 2,337 Posted March 8, 2019 Report Share Posted March 8, 2019 And I was late! Stupid phone!! I wanted to wait for a fox but needed to be in place before light. It never showed up and the pheasants were quiet so I moved off and got in the car to head off for rabbit country. That didn't go well as not many were showing so I moved off again! This time I found some and got a brace. Two bucks one a has a bobbed tail. On the way out I had a plink. Shooting at 45 paces the two top holes are my old load. I have not been two impressed with that load just of late so I increased the charge and bingo! Three on the right side of the handle, I was aiming for the centre of the handle. The last shot was after I drifted the front sight and was perfect. Not bad for no rifling! I next loaded with shot and on an old feeder at 25 paces just threw the gun up to test for gun fit in shotgun mode...... 3 2 Quote Link to post
