Yup

I know there are still 1,000s of northerners that vote Labour just because their dads and grandads did, and there is still the diehard knuckle draggers that would vote for a monkey with a red rosette

Don't assume ALL northerners support Labour gnash . I despise them along with a now growing army of others

Won’t get your hopes up, there’s independants joining labour ,so it’s like the old geography lesson about waves (peaks & troughs )

Yes, but at least the labour vote will be diluted between old and new. Divide and conquer! Luckily they've done it to themselves already.

Their statement that Labour "has been taken over by the machine politics of the far Left" surely puts pay to any hope of Corbyn ever becoming PM ?

As long as people believe that the government will give them free sh*t there will always be a vote for Labour.

Odd situation, forming their own minority party as independents (or something like that) apparently.

Wonder how they stand on Brexit?

Cant see why they didn't just join the lib dems , they seem to be more central and in line with what there saying

Hopefully chukas just committed political suicide and melt into background never to be seen again

Another great one, can't go wrong with her, she is simply her own comedy show,  and what makes it even better is that she is completely oblivious to the fact!

Nothing as treacherous and dangerous as a stupid Cnut that thinks their smart.

Part of the reason for leaving is because corbyn is allowing a 'tory hard brexit'.

Between them they want either a softer brexit or to halt it all together.

Fair comment, somewhere along the line I missed that part, I thought it was all about the Jewish issue!
