Whippets great, BUT ferreting whippets can feel the damp rain wind if stood for long periods. I’d go collie x greyhound/ whippet or collie lurcher x whippet. Wouldn’t  touch a first cross bed x w

nice little bunch, do you leave the tails on your terriers from choice just out of interest, I like whippets and whippety lurchers, when I was a boy I used whippet blood to breed down my coursing dogs as we had allot of barbed wire, and found the offspring very easy to live with and very capable animals indeed.

Illegal to dock here but I also think it gives you more to grab hold of at times.The blue whippet is 3/4 whippet 1/4 aussie staghound,the white one is a greyhound blooded whippet.They are a good pack for rabbits and occasional fox and hare.Use the terriers on other stuff at times.

cheers for the advice lads, a really clear consensus hahaha anyone know of any litters of beddy whippets? That sounds like half the battle trying to find a litter that hasnt been bashed out from a pet for a quick couple of quid
