I sincerely doubt that. As daft as the charge was he did what he did and filmed himself doing it. Twice. He's like one of these clowns on social media that films themselves doing stupid sh*t and wondering why the police turn up. He was sailing close to the wind, but arguably wasn't actually breaking the terms of the reporting restriction. There was a Sikh youtuber doing exactly the same thing on the court steps with no attempts made to stop or arrest him. From a practical point of view that day was sentencing, so no arguments or decisions being made in court only a pre written judgement being read out, which counters the argument that his actions could change the course of the case. The Court of Appeal was critical of the judge that sent him to prison that day because he was so far out of line with normal court procedure that TR did not receive proper process or legal representation and the sentence was excessive.

It's not so much what Tommy Robinson is saying, the problems mass immigration and political Islamism have brought to the UK are already known. The targeted prejudicial twisting of the law and procedure by the police and courts and the lies of politicians and the media in relation to him is the real eye opener. His previous stint in prison for mortgage fraud was for lending a relative the deposit for one of those dodgy self assessment 'liar loans' that the mortgage firms were pushing hard pre 2009 financial crisis. Can't imagine many other people got time for being one step removed from a dodgy mortgage application, it was rife at the time and being encouraged by the brokers.

If any politician had milkshake thrown at them while campaigning for an election then the person throwing it would be beaten to the ground and charged with assault, various links to the attack on Joe Cox would also be made. With TR the media paint him and his followers as violent for any reaction. You don't have to agree with TR to see and admit how scary that situation is.

That's fair enough I just refuse to accept that there is some deep state conspiracy against him. There simply isn't. He's not that important. I don't necessarily agree with the way he's been shown different treatment to those that are doing the same thing but that's Britain for you. He did break the law. He admitted breaking the law and regardless of the outcome it was a pretty daft angle to take. He did have legal representation but he didn't receive due process and that's not acceptable. We'll see what happens at his next trial whenever they release the details of that one.

Again I tend to agree but the bloke has made a pretty good living out of sticking a camera in someone's face and putting them on the spot. That's my primary issue. He's a rabble rouser and a well paid one at that. Even with his run for MEP coming up (What is his election manifesto BTW?) click like and subscribe to vote for Tommy. Send him money and he'll make more content so we can send him more money. If people want to support that then fair enough, if it makes them feel better, but now he's moving into politics he's fair game and if you think he's being unfairly treated now all bets are off once he's on the ballot!

EDIT: Gerard Batten has announced he's resigning from UKIP leadership after the EU election. That's even more turmoil over the next couple of months.

so is it just me that thinks t.r is a fool.....that kid made him look like the rasist thug the media make him out to be.....that Asian kid has played him like fiddle....

if he wants to go further  he should have took the moral high ground...its no good getting in brawls with every Asian ...or left wing tree hugger...

being the bigger man ...and not throwing punches or getting your security to do it would make him look far better....

he made that negative in to a double negative......he could have stood there dripping with milk ...and calmly said look what I have to deal with...and made the negative in to positive...

When John Prescot got an egg thrown at him by a pro hunting farmer he turn and punched the bloke, the bloke was dived on and held down and later charged with assault. The media supported Prescot, the law supported Prescot. It doesn't matter who you agree with.....the difference, and the reason behind the difference is scary....and the key to many of Britain's problems

These are good and valid points, but the question remains is root beer being reinstated and if not why not ?

That's one way of looking at it. You could also argue that Prescott didn't stick a camera in his face for YouTube either. Question is should they be all held accountable or none of them?
