I prefer wood , just incase of a parvo or the likes outbreak means I can just burn them and start again.. heres my set up now didn’t cost me anything I got all the materials free from a skip

When I had my spaniels I had a shed with insolution in then ply over it, used to have to wake one of them up when it was pissing down as he would always sleep outside had a bed in there heat lamp when it got cold but he would still be outside nuts that dog

looks spot on that.i see you have gone for the removable lower plank.is that for summer time chid.or just ran out of nail's

Actually removed that to let the mutt stretch out fully , kennel was made for a terrier but I’ve got a lurcher in it at the minute

I never built any stone kennels, but I did an extension on a house I built, and it turned into a bird box we got blue tits in a puggy hole, I have to point it up before spring i would go for block to.
