W. I. P. A present my son's 10th birthday

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Soon my youngest son will turn 10 years old and so I will make him a knife, hopefully he will lent it to me some times :)

80mm drop point blade from 1.3505 in 3.8mm, bronze, mammoth and sambar, I still need to make the pommel from bronze with a lanyard hole.

Thanks!

Same as always, just used the last piece of mammoth I had, it had a little crack, things that happen often with mammoth, but I stabilized it.

Smaller blade for a boy but normal handle so he can use it as an adult too, if he won't loose it ?

I turn 65 in March and think that a blade would be a good retirement present. Why don't you let me have it and think of another suitable present for your lad? LOL. Strudel, Black Forest Gateau or even a nice Rhone. Come on pal, send it to me. Katchum's already got everything in life. Good luck with everything this year. Jok.
