Yorkshire Canary’s

Any one keep Yorkshire Canary’s ? 

Saw some at the bird sale and was quite taken buy them , are they hard to bred ? Do they sing well ?

If ye have experience with wee birds then have a bash mate, I found them trickie to get right tho, easy to keep an breed but to get em spot on they take some time an effort, I always said the days me dogs are gone is day I’ll devote all me days to canaries 😁 until then tho I not got time tbh

Might have to invest in a double breeder , and have a bid , only thing is at the sales your probably buying someone’s rubbish

Try get some decent harts roller or timbrado  canary better singers viper and vine Manchester used to get some nice birds in from Holland but 50 a pair

We all have our favourite , tried the rollers and timbrados.. not for me , I stuck with the good old wee fife canary imo a much better song 😉

The fife dose sound very nice , I need to have a bid on some breeding cages and get set up 

do they breed easily? And keep easy ?

Breed very easy and are hardy little birds I've seen hen birds sitting eggs in seed trays in pet shops lol
