Bike mine like that 4 or 5 times a week.

It's good fun until they see something they want then it's brace for impact time

Yup, all the time, terrier keeps up with us as well. Try to mostly do it off the lead on a bridleway, better in the afternoons when there's been several dog walkers about, early morning there's more chance of seeing deer which can be problematic
