Chickens and stoats!

Recommended Posts

A quick walk up the chicken units with the dog this morning seemed a good idea.

It was! Some magpies and crows betrayed a stoat eying up the chucks.

A quick squeak and the female stoat came in to 10yds. As it squirmed to the shot Jessy was dispatched to sort it out!

The thing was covered in tics.

Got a magpie too a little later, happy days.

Yes it was a pale colour. I wondered if it was due to winter and a prediction of snow!!

nice one u?

see loads of stoats up here on a dairy I shoot... I leave them b though cos the vicious little b@stards help out with the rabbits!

how's the recovery coming on?!

your out hunting more than chilling?

I can walk pretty good in the morning if I fast. By midday I am sore and then if I eat it hurts again! I just love being out and shooting something.

I tried the bow in the back yard this afternoon and that's ready for.....shooting now.
