Had a walk out with a mates hawk and dog alas no catches but a great morning out all the same kids loved it

Dog pointed and we flushed  4 or 5 pheasant but bird only made contact with one and that one got away, his talons were pretty blunt which don't help he dropped down for a rabbit and missed as well

Yeah mate it not easy. the dog was a German longhair pointer and it new its job and done it well.

The dog seems to follow the bird, think it would work better with the bird following the dog tbh.

As above it's good to see kids taken a interest ,

you get some action with couple stinkers pushing coney out ,
