Back in the day what was the best cross for deer ?  How did they take them and what did they take ? Cheers rt

I’ve not heard great things about them do you think they can cope with smaller size ground or do hey need a lot of space to get going

Get a good 1 they will lick them down on any ground

Back in the day, I don't believe there was a best cross or type. More your individual dog of whatever cross or type that was keen on the task, back in the day

3/4 grey 1/4 bull off the right stuff is the type you want I 've saw a few if these pre ban a count for a few deer in 1 session

Saw a good few of this cross on deer,once they have a hold of them there not letting go ,this bitch was the same cross and she put a few away pre ban
