Ratting

Recommended Posts

Got a call from a mate yesterday who I bought the hw100 off, his daughter has a horse in a local paddock near him and they've seen a few rats lately, so hes asked me to go down tonight and have a bash at them, now he hasn't got a rifle anymore as he sold it to me ☺ so he's borrowing the r10 in 25cal with a red pilled torch and I'm using the hw100 with the photon rt, so hopefully I,ll update later with a few pics....  ? ? ?

We tend to find the rats and rabbits are fewer on the ground when there is a full moon to the point where we rarely bother.

Got to that farm last night for 7.30,not had time to have a daylight mooch so guessing really, sat and waited in a couple of Likely looking spots and never seen a thing apart from the farm cat, and the hooting of an owl, stayed till 10.30 and came home, told the guy I could do with a daytime visit to see what's what, so hopefully back over the weekend......

Draw them out with BADD Smells Runny stinking cheap catfood ,smells like heaven to a rat and nowt to run off with .Lidls tripe or fish flavoured .If you want extra runny stink put it on the radiator for an hour before you go out BUT hold your nose when you open it, or big blobs of peanut butter .Just puncture the lid so they cant get at it well and the stink will hold em so you can slot em atb
