secretagentmole 1,701
Wanted a new scope with IR, did not want to pay Hawke prices. I wanted a 10 year warranty. I paid £140, what did I buy? A Discovery VT-R2. What reticle? Half Mil Dot, true at X10, etched glass. Illuminated reticle, side focus, sunshade, flip up lens covers, with nice large wheel, lockable turrets, oh and some picatinny mounts (I need those for the Zbroia, 11 mm mounts are also available), flip up end caps. cleaning cloth, all included! Box contents! Well what's it like? Not bad, in fact better than the Nite Eye it replaced, lighter, smaller, 44mm objective. This scope is good in low light conditions (see hunting section for more details). Quite a looker isn't it? So £140 saw me with a 3-12x44 side focus, illuminated reticle scope. It isn't mixy, no bodies anywhere. 2 Quote Link to post
The one 8,396
I don't see why anybody would pay dear for a scope with a 10 year warranty , as technology is advancing so fast there's going to be better cheaper scopes out there ever few years ?. Quote Link to post
